چکیده

We present a simple iterative pre-distortion algorithm for achieving rapid linear frequency sweep of semiconductor lasers. The achieves the desired swept linearity with only four iterations. derive general formula by establishing relationship between laser output and drive current. frequency-swept source obtained this can be used in FMCW LiDAR systems. Experimentally, we investigated using 1550 nm distributed feedback (DFB) laser, excursion 30.26 GHz, slope 504 THz/s. analyzed results fourth iteration, less than 5 MHz root mean square (RMS) value nonlinearity.

We found that each pulse is shifted in frequency with very high accuracy.
